A few weeks back, I came across a book about Minsk in Goodwill. It has several very cool maps in it. I must admit I’m a sucker for Soviet-era design aesthetics – everything from their propaganda posters to architecture and especially their cartography. (I can’t wait to read “Red Atlas“)
Over the next little while, I’ll be sharing the maps I found in the book along with whatever I can glean from Google Translate about their content. If you speak Russian/Belorussian, and know better/more accurate translations, please share them if you’re so inclined.
